Grading ScaleGrading Scale for the Old & New Testament Survey CourseThe grading scale for this course is designed to reflect your understanding and engagement with the material, as well as your ability to articulate and apply biblical principles. Your final grade will be calculated based on assignments, quizzes, participation, and the final exam and paper.
Grade = Percentage Range - Description (G=PR-D) A+ = 97-100% - Exceptional understanding and application of biblical concepts, with insightful contributions to discussions and assignments. A = 93-96% - Excellent grasp of course material, demonstrating strong analytical skills and comprehensive understanding. A- = 90-92% - Very good understanding of course content with minor areas for improvement in application or analysis. B+ = 87-89% - Good knowledge of the material with solid analysis and application, though some key areas may need further development. B = 83-86% - Adequate understanding of the material, showing general competence but lacking depth in certain areas. B- = 80-82%- Basic grasp of key concepts, but with noticeable gaps in understanding or application. C+ = 77-79% - Fair understanding, with significant areas needing improvement or greater engagement with the material. C = 73-76% - Minimal comprehension of course concepts, requiring more thorough study and reflection. C- = 70-72% - Limited understanding, struggling to meet course requirements.
